Why We Partnered with APU

At Techspire, we believe that the quality of education depends not only on how we teach, but also on what students are taught. Technology is evolving at an unprecedented pace. New programming frameworks, artificial intelligence tools, cybersecurity practices, business models, and digital technologies emerge every day. We wanted our students to learn through a curriculum that keeps pace with this rapidly changing world.

As we explored ways to build that environment in Nepal, we realized that finding the right university partner was critical. We wanted a university with a forward-looking, industry-relevant curriculum, strong academic standards, global recognition, and—most importantly—an education that remains accessible and affordable for students in Nepal.

That search led us to Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia.

Our decision was not based simply on its international affiliation. We first looked closely at APU's curriculum and academic approach. Its strong focus on technology, innovation, practical learning, and emerging fields aligned closely with what we wanted Techspire to become. We then looked at the overall value it could provide to Nepali students—including its international standing, industry orientation, and affordability.

We found in APU a university that shared our belief that technology education should prepare students for the world that is coming, not simply the world that already exists.

Through our partnership with APU, Techspire brings an internationally oriented academic experience to Nepal while keeping our focus firmly on the needs of Nepali students. Combined with our industry partnerships, practical learning environment, mentorship, professional networks, and entrepreneurial support, we aim to give students much more than a degree.
